The island of Saint Barthelemy (St Barts) belongs to the French West
Indies. As a result, there are many top-notch restaurants on the
island. You will find all sorts of classy places where the cooks blend
French, Italian and Creole cuisines.
Another consequence of the French influence is that the villa's owner,
Bruno de Courrèges, has insisted on creating a beautiful and
fully equipped kitchen in the house. Its white tiles, along with the
indigo furniture, invite you to create sumptuous meals for your friends
and family.
A large oven, a microwave, a big GE fridge, a dishwasher and many
kitchen utensils are at your disposal to actually cook or just prepare
your breakfast before your first swim of the day. You can also have a
private chef come to our St Barts villa.
Mr de Courreges has also bought French tableware for you to use. Most
of the tableware come from the world-renowned JARS ceramics factory.
You will then be able to invite guests to the house and set up for them
a very elegant table. Quelle joie de vivre!
The teak table is right outside of the kitchen, on the deck. From
there, you enjoy a great view over the sea, close islets and the bigger
island of St Martin. Bon appétit!
