Enjoy the finest one-bedroom villa with the best sea view in St Barths.
BelAmour is a luxurious, yet intimate, boutique villa for two in St. Barths. Celebrate a milestone in your couple’s life at this designer villa. Rekindle your passion in the absolute privacy of a villa built for lovers. Enjoy a private home with services discreetly provided by your maid and your concierge.
BelAmour was built to celebrate love. French designer J.C. de Castelbajac has painted a wonderful mural inside the villa to sing the praises of “L’Amour à Saint Barth”. Our team is here to help you spend carefree days, so that you can be busy creating lifelong memories.
BelAmour is located atop a cliff in the upscale area of Pointe Milou. Waking up facing the Caribbean Sea is magic and the sunset views are amazing.
The villa is very secluded, so be free to be yourselves at your vacation home. High walls protect you from the outside
Your concierge welcomes you at the airport and can book a car, a boat, or anything. You also get a daily maid service.
The moment I walked through the doors, I felt as if I entered HEAVEN! I wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviewers; Thibault’s home is simply SUBLIME. My partner and I were temporarily removed from reality and placed within a GLORIOUS work of ART set in the ULTIMATE PARADISE. – Michelle, Airbnb
Imagine yourself waking up in BelAmour. You quietly leave the comfy king-size bed, walk to the bay window and push away the curtain. Your husband stirs a bit in the bed, while the soft Caribbean morning light penetrates into the bedroom. From the window, you have a glimpse on the spectacular view over the Caribbean sea, the northwestern coast of St Barts, and the nearby islets of Bonhomme and Chevreau. In the background, you can see the very hilly St Martin and the very flat Anguilla. As the villa is cliffside right above the sea, you feel like being at the same time in the cabin of a luxurious cruise ship and onboard a private jet.
You walk past the dressing room and put a featherlight robe on. You slide open the wooden door and enter the living room. On your left, your eyes wander past the sofas to contemplate the pool and the sea beyond it. On your right, you look past the dinner table in the patio to admire once more the mural painting. It is called “Miracle of Love” and has been designed by French fashion designer and artist Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, exclusively for you and for the very few who get to stay at BelAmour.
You walk into the kitchen, make yourself an espresso and you go outside, to the deck, by the pool. All is quiet, the soft sea breeze is like a caress on your skin. You can see and hear the waves crashing at the feet of the villa, 100 feet blow. This is just you enjoying a perfect morning. The high walls of the villa make this experience very private. You decide to leave the villa for 5 minutes, just to walk a bit around the quiet neighborhood of Pointe Milou. The sun is rising over the sea, at the east. You contemplate the sunrise, rested and happy. You finish your coffee and walk back into BelAmour, close the mysterious red door that separates the villa from the outside world. You hear the water running in the shower. You decide to join your husband to give a great start to this new romantic day in BelAmour.
Villa BelAmour is very private. It is located in Pointe Milou, a quiet, much sought-after, area of the island of Saint Barthelemy (French Caribbean). The villa is right on a cliff. The bedroom itself has actually been carved into the cliff, with just its gigantic sliding glass windows emerging from the hill to give you fantastic views on the sea.
From the road, the rare bystanders can only have a glimpse at high walls, a mysterious red door and a parking place for 2 cars.
BelAmour is the quintessential Pointe Milou villa: For the people in the know, it guarantees discretion, luxury, and intimacy.
When a couple comes for the first time to St. Barths, they often choose to stay in a hotel room, as they do not know that vacationing in St. Barths is really about villas, not hotels.
Moreover, there are only a few luxury 1-bedroom villas available on the island. Yet, no 5-star hotel can provide you with the private experience of your own spacious villa as you can enjoy at BelAmour.
First, the open concept living room + patio + pool has a contemporary, yet welcoming, vibe. Perfect for relaxing as a couple and also for entertaining a few guests, the space features large sofas for 6, a coffee table, and a TV (US satellite TV + Apple TV). To immerse yourself in the soft St. Barths light, you can slide open the large bay windows that separate the living room from the pool. Bring outside in by making disappear the windows and their frames. You will then enjoy romantic sunsets on the sea, with clouds over St. Martin taking spectacular, yet always different, colors every evening.
The space feels even bigger with the patio, which is an extension to the living room. Thanks to a state of the art roof top, you can open the roof of patio, leave it closed, and let the light and the breeze flow in as much as you want.
Colorful items like cushions adorned by Jean-Paul Gaultier fabric and tableware from acclaimed Balinese ceramics maker Jengala add a sensual undertone to the contemporary architecture. Candlelight dinners in the patio are very romantic.
The wall of the patio features a wonderful mural painting by French fashion design and artist Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. I had invited him to BelAmour as an artist in residency. Inspired by the romantic atmosphere, he decided to create an amazing, unique, large hand-painted mural designed on the theme of love.
Your 2 sets of eyes will be the only to contemplate this exclusive, colorful and playful painting. Soak in the positive vibes from the most romantic of all St Barts luxury villa rentals.
I have conceived the large space connecting the bedroom, the bathroom and the dressing area to make you feel sexy: Dress, undress, spend a passionate night, take a beauty sleep, enjoy a nice shower with upscale toiletries while looking at the sea. I live part of the year in Bali and the bedroom is really where the Balinese influence is the strongest. I used a lot of wood and stone from Indonesia and had the bed shipped from Bali to St. Barths. The bedroom and the bathroom merge into one big space, open on the sea thanks to large bay windows that can disappear in the walls of the villa.
From the large, comfy bed, you have a privileged view on the sea, on the nearby islets and on St. Martin. The villa was thought out so that when you are in the shower, when you are by the sinks or when you are in the bed, you can still enjoy the sea view. The shower is large enough for 2 and has a convenient little bench that you can use as you see fit.
The bedroom also has a side window overlooking the pool and a small desk where you can put your iPad or your sun hat. The dressing area is directly connected to the bedroom. All made in wood from Bali, it enables you to store your fabulous evening wear for a night in Gustavia’s trendiest places, as well as your favorite summer clothes.
Between the Bedroom and the Living Room, I have set up my personal office. Feel free to use my desk, my computer and my printer if you really have to work while on vacation. Sometimes, it makes your vacation less stressful if you can keep an eye on your business, and I understand this.
The wifi connection is the 3rd fastest on the island. I know that guests who stay in luxury vacation rentals want the best, so I have set up a dedicated internet signal to the villa. You can also use this strong wifi connection to play; For instance, you can watch movies from your country on the AppleTV or stream your favorite fitness workouts on your iPad.
You can make what you want of the kitchen. I know that some couples never cook in St. Barths, as they are too busy sampling the wonderful restaurants of the island. For them, the only really vital thing in the kitchen is the Nespresso machine. On the other hand, some couples use their time on this French island to buy great ingredients at the local supermarket and prepare wonderful dinners. They can use the 2 ovens (regular and micro-wave, the gas cooker, the multiple cooking utensils). As this is my real home in St. Barths, you can be sure to find here all the plates that a Frenchman think are necessary in a decent kitchen.
Take the time to prepare a nice meal, set up the table in the patio, light on the candles, turn off the lights and enjoy the start of a very romantic evening in BelAmour.
Thanks to its high walls, BelAmour offers maximum privacy. Feel free to relax on the deck, to cuddle on the bench and to skinny dip in the 12 metres long pool. This your vacation home. Get into the relatively deep pool and look at the sea straight in front of you. On your left, you can the Baie de St Jean. On your right, it is the blue ocean.
Let your spouse serve you a cocktail by the pool while you contemplate the sunset. This is the perfect occasion to strengthen the bonds of your relationship.

Villa BelAmour is located in the quiet, private and upscale area of Pointe Milou, on the Caribbean island of Saint Barthélemy (a.k.a. St. Barths), French West Indies. Nestled atop a cliff, BelAmour is the quintessential luxury vacation rental for lovers who value privacy. The cliffside swimming pool provides unforgettable, romantic views of the Caribbean sea at sunset.
If you are on this page, you have then probably already heard of St. Barths. You can spell its name the way you like, from Saint Barth to St Barts, from St Barthélemy to St. Barths, the island is still unique. Maybe you have even be here before.
I was talking with a young lady once and here’s how she and I managed to sum up why St. Barths is an amazing destination for couples:
If you want to know more about the island itself, visit my own St. Barths travel guide, SaintBarth.com, where I share tips such as the best ways to celebrate a wedding anniversary or a special birthday on the island.
Most people come to St. Barths by plane (SBH airport) and transit through St. Martin (SXM airport). You can also reach San Juan (Puerto Rico) directly.
If you do not like small planes, my advice is to take the ferry (Voyager III) from St. Martin to the port of Gustavia in St. Barths. It is also cheaper.[
For a couple like you looking for a romantic time with plenty of privacy, the quartier of Pointe Milou is ideal: There is not much traffic, as it is out of the main roads, and there are no commercial developments, except for the beloved restaurant / night bar le Ti St-Barth and for the very nice luxury hotel Le Christopher. Both of them are located away from villa BelAmour, but still within walking distance of the house, which is quiet convenient when you do not want to drink and drive. Just saying.
Pointe Milou is very residential, with a lot of very large luxury villas overlooking the ocean. The area does not have a beach, but offers amazing volcanic cliffs from which you can contemplate wonderful sunsets. Just like villa BelAmour, the most prized villas have views over Lorient, Saint Jean bay, the smalls islands that surround St. Barths, St. Martin, and even Anguilla when the air is very clear.
To get to Pointe Milou from the airport, it is a 15-minute drive: Leave the airport, drive past the beaches of St-Jean, past the Eden Rock hotel, drive to Lorient, go up the hill of Camaruche and then turn left. At the junction, leave the quartier of Mont-Jean to your right and head to Pointe Milou.
Close to Camaruche, there is a small convenience store where you can refill your fridge. Most people shop at the supermarkets in either Lorient (a 10-minute drive) or St Jean (a 15-minute drive).
All the beaches of St. Barths, such as Saline, Grand Cul de Sac and Toiny are under a 15-minute drive. Remember, this island is tiny and the roads are scenic, so it is actually a pleasure to drive around Saint Barthélemy.
Domingue was specifically designed and constructed to offer dramatic, romantic, sweeping views on the ocean. The villa is perched atop a spectacular cliff-edge along the northwestern coast of Pointe Milou.
The house is secluded, nestled between silver trees and the natural beauty of the Caribbean Sea. This lovers’ retreat sits at the very tip of Pointe Milou, along with 3 other villas : BelAmour, Caramba and Cap au Vent. However, Domingue is very private and you cannot see these other villas and people in these villas cannot see you.
BelAmour is located atop a cliff, so we are right above the sea, but not on the beach.
No St Barts beach is more than a 15-minute scenic drive away from the villa. For instance, St Jean is 10 minutes away and Saline is 12 minutes away.
We will send you a rental agreement. If you arrive in more than 1 month from now, then you will need to pay 50% to secure your booking. You pay online via a secured link, using any credit card or a Paypal account.
St Barths is tiny, so it is very, very easy to drive to go shopping. The closest grocery store is 7 minutes away (Monoshop), then you have 3 in Lorient (10 minutes away) and the big supermarket in St Jean (15 minutes away).
Yes, absolutely. It is a small island, but it is very hot and hilly. Nobody walks, unless they are jogging! There is no public transportation and taxis are quit expensive. We can arrange car rental for you, just contact us.
Just go on this website to the St Barths Blog section, where we share with you lots of cool, insider’s tips.
Yes, absolutely. As we travel a lot between Asia, Europe and the Caribbean, it is easier to call Thibault on Skype. His user name is tibomasson .
