St. Barths / St. Barts / St. Barthelemy / St. Barth’s, and any other names called for this island, is a small luxury island in the Caribbean islands. Known for it’s high-end, high-class way and cost of living, it’s not surprising why it is frequented by many rich and famous tourists all year-round. Not to mention the silent billionaires who just want to take a dip in the beaches of St. Barths, or party through a private yacht and cruise the entire French West Indies.

  1. Getting to St. Barths can be done either by air or by water. By air, you take a small plane which lands on a very short landing strip, just enough for you to hold your breath right before hitting the near front of  the water. On the other hand, others take a ferry or the celebrities go for the cruise through a yacht.
  2. Upon arriving, you can either stay at a hotel or a villa, depending on your preferences. A villa is for those who want a more intimate setting either with the family, or close-knit group of friends, or for the couples who want ultimate privacy. A villa offers this kind of experience since it is privately-owned and exclusive to the renters, only that there are staff who are available to help in any way they can.
  3. The beaches of St. Barths are just to die for. Not just the pristine white sand beaches, but also the crystal clear blue and green waters that are so attractive it makes the eyes sparkle. Depending on the weather (which is tropical all year round, besides the little rain here and there), the waters can either be just hot enough to take a dip in, or warm, to cool that tropical heat wave of the sun.
  4. Nikki Beach St. Barths is a restaurant/bar where parties can get pretty wild, but fun. Well, crazy would be a good term but having fun does that. This is where lavish parties are thrown and women in their bikinis dance on tables, not giving a care on who’s watching. Actually, no one would care if women in bikinis do that. Celebrities also frequent this place since it has become a haven for stylish partying. Not only that, the food is great also.
  5. Celebrities in St. Barths are a common sight and don’t get hassled too much by fans for photo or autographs, except of course by paparazzi or news/style/fashion magazines/publications. Because of the frequency of celebrity attendance in St. Barths, tourists get a chance to see their favorite artists, partying in the flesh and having fun, not the usual roles they play on-screen.

These 5 things are the truth of the common things you witness in St. Barths. It’s not anymore new news, but a typical day in this world-famous luxury island.
